FabuLESSly Crafty on Facebook!

I know
I'm late jumping on this wagon...

In all fairness,
I set up the page awhile ago and just didn't do a thing with it from then on out......
SOOOOOOO
photo from Pinterest - Follow me Here
Its there now!
Look to the right, down... down.... There it is!!

"Like" FabuLESSly Crafty to follow me along there too :)

Come on, you know you wanna....

Courtesy of the Red White and Blue....

Ive been busy getting patriotic pieces together, even though they will only be up another week or so
Last time I showed ya my super cute stars for the dining table centepiece
Now its time for my Front Entry!

I found this Berry Wreath at a yardsale for $2 bucks a few weeks ago and my intentions were to spray paint it white... I can still do that later ;)
Next I wanting a MINI bunting across {{ Thanks for the idea Christine! }}
but I wanted it to be sturdier than just paper on its own....

SOOOOO

See where I'm going here?
I couldn't find Pre-Cut chipboard pennants small enough, so I used the points of small stars instead

Then, I spent too much time cutting out individual triangles for them
{{ If I were SMART I woulda cut them with my Silhouette... My "duh!" moment once I was finished }}
strung with Embroidery Floss then tied to the wreath...

While I was Mod-Podging my Table Stars I did this larger one as well

and saved one of the chipboard stars whole to layer on top

Wired it to the wreath
and hung with some Navy Blue ribbon!

I like it!
and I really like that it was Under $5 Bucks....FabuLESS!!!!

hmmmmm.... after playing in Photoshop... im more convinced than ever to paint my Door and Trim Charcoal Gray..... My wreaths would look do much better against it!!

I know Mr. FabuLESS reads this, so
SEE HONEY!!!
IT WILL LOOK BETTER!!!

Now time to get the front bench festive too!

Seeing Stars

While at a wedding this weekend, I was reminded how QUICKLY the
is approaching us

I still have my cute spring setup on my Dining Table and Front Door
{{ so what a good excuse to change it up! }}

So today was a long-overdue project day....

Me and my Littlest best friend hit Craft Warehouse and I got some super cute supplies
and left with an idea in my head

Wanna See what I did??

Showed you how to check it, but for those who arent Pinners Yet....

 I thought I would share the world of Pinterest with you... just in case you aren't on board already
Pay attention, Friends!

So assuming after my post last night - you're thinking, 'What is Pinterest?'
Well, friends... Here ya go... the days off dog-earing Home and Garden magazines and saving photos from online to big albums in your pc photo albums is in the past!

Imagine a place that allows you to "dog ear" pictures of things you find on the internet.... anywhere on the internet, and organize it into categories onto your own little website of sorts. Then you have one easy place to look back at all these wonderful things -- and the images are linked to the site where you found them

 My first thought upon hearing of it......
Isn't this just like bookmarking a page? well, kind of.... but so much easier! Everything you pin is in neat folders {you create} all in one spot! AND you can see what your friends are pinning, follow them or even tag them in pins so they are sure to see them...Fun, right!?
I just got going, so there isnt TONS on my boards yet, but Your welcome to follow along if you would like
Fabu Craft on Pinterest

Pinterest is so addicting and fun {{ and free }}!

Consider this my Match.....

After all this traveling this last couple months, Ive been feeling
SERIOUSLY
UNMOTIVATED
to do anything.... at all.
So this is my plan to light a fire under my rear.
Every Monday ~ Ill post my "To-Do's" for the week
&
Every Sunday - We will see how that pans out....
To Do - or NOT to do.... THAT is the question.
1
Take down Curtains in Living Room, and re-hang
{this time with drywall anchors, and the screws are getting loose, I got scolded this AM}

2.
Clean back patio and patio set

3.
Finish painting around my BIG FIREPLACE MAKEOVER PROJECT
{oh yes, that was months ago... Nope, haven't finished painting it yet}

4.
While the paint is out from the fireplace ~ Paint trim in Hallway and Entryway where touchup is needed.

5.
RE-Organize my mess of a pantry
{oh if only my pantry was as cute as Shelley of House of Smith's!}

{{ on second though, consider that my inspiration! }}

Figured Ill keep it to 5, that will not make me feel overwhelmed...
Hmm.... Maybe putting this out there will FORCE me to do...

Back Again....

Seems Ive been gone a lot between our two family vacations this year, and trying to get caught up.

Im now officially home, back into our old schedule with nothing else crazy planned.

We had a fabulous last couple weeks with some family friends in California - Theme parking it up.
I am Definitly glad to be home in my own bed, NOT living out of a suitcase.
We did Disney again, Sandiego Zoo and Safari Park, and Legoland and the Sealife Aquarium in Carlsbad
Got to try out the cute little 'Mouse Ear Clip' I made for Sissy - and she got compliments on them left and right!

 AnyHOO
 I hope to get back into the swing of Fabuless Things very soon....
