I know Im not the ONLY one out there that sometimes
DRAAAAAGGGGSSS
projects out way longer than the need to be...
AND
I know I'm not the only one that doesn't like wasting money, product or supplies.
So here's a tip I learned a long time ago - that I use on almost every project.
When you are going to take a break.... and you dont want to wash your brushes or roller....
Can ya tell where they are??
Of course you can.
Throw them in the FRIDGE!
Ziploc bag them, squeeze the air out and keep them perfectly wet and ready to use!
Ive left mine for a week or so at a time and they always stay perfect...
This is also good for when you need to do a quick cleanup and don't have time to wash your brushes well - throw them in there till you have the time to clean them correctly.

I'm a freak lady! Get ready for some more.
ReplyDeleteI do this all the time. I love that they don't dry out. I hated washing every time I had to stop painting..

great idea! If you are not going to return to painting for a REALLY long week, you can freeze them too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip. My projects always seem to drag out way too long.
