A year of no blogging.....

And what a year its been! Decided to jump back in - My blog has kept my busy, given me a creative outlet - as well as given me some "Me" time...
Not that I need anything to keep me busy lately, but we've had some big events and have some even bigger ones coming up!

Since my last post....

We had our Big Rustic Barn Wedding Reception in February. Those of you that follow my Pinterest probably saw my COUNTLESS inspiration posts for the year leading up to it.

If you are wanting to something this theme - check it out... I have SO much inspiration on there it will make your head turn

Here's a few shots from our Reception, but I will save the giant photo overload for another post. I had so many DIY projects that I would love to share.

Next Up, the glitter tattoo business my mom and I have been doing over the last few years took a step in a forward direction and we have launched the company to include at home kits and wholesale opportunities. This has been a HUGE thing for us and is so exciting!
Love for you to visit Boise Glitter Tattoos or check us out on Facebook
More on that later as well...

And for the biggest upcoming....

Our little threesome is soon to be four!!
We have a little man due in December and we are anxiously awaiting his arrival!
Little Miss T is so excited to be a big sister and cannot wait for her brother to get here!

My Birthday Girl that didn't care to have her picture taken

In her Birthday Shirt my Mom made for her

{had all the kids write a note on there "cookie"  for her scrapbook}.
My Mother and Grandmother made the CUTEST little aprons for all her guests - 20 little aprons! None matched ~ all were unique and they were great!
I think my cousin got some better pictures of her party... Ill add them if so!!
On a side Note - she is now 2 years and 2weeks old and she is officially POTTY TRAINED!

Not so FabuLESS... But still just as Fab

When I created my blog I titled it as FabuLESSly Crafty as a play on words...
I strive to decorate and DIY on a budget - while keeping it just as fabulous as if you had spent the big bucks... Fabulous for LESS.
Not super original... Ive seen it a lot.... BUT it worked for me!

One Problem
Apparently, "fabuless" is trademarked by LiveFabuless...and I was informed today with a rather harsh email...
Very different Content, but they hold the trademark for the word 'Fabuless' as it applies to any blog, journal, shopping, Lifestyle, ect. site.

I had no intent of "stealing" anyone's word... and I never thought of checking the National Trademark for one as it is a word very commonly used in the Blog World.

SO My friends....

For now FabuLESSlyCrafty.com will be changed.
The new address is www.FabulouslyCrafty.com

Same Fabulous, just different spelling.
I am in the process of changing the header, buttons, facebook, ect... Im sure you will need to pick up a new button if you display it on your blog...

Possibly a change of name ENTIRELY in the future... Im just not sure.

Tip of the Day {{LONG Painting Projects}}

I know Im not the ONLY one out there that sometimes
DRAAAAAGGGGSSS
projects out way longer than the need to be...

AND
I know I'm not the only one that doesn't like wasting money, product or supplies.

So here's a tip I learned a long time ago - that I use on almost every project.
When you are going to take a break.... and you dont want to wash your brushes or roller....
Can ya tell where they are??
Of course you can.
Throw them in the FRIDGE!

Ziploc bag them, squeeze the air out and keep them perfectly wet and ready to use!

Ive left mine for a week or so at a time and they always stay perfect...
This is also good for when you need to do a quick cleanup and don't have time to wash your brushes well - throw them in there till you have the time to clean them correctly.

Just a little Batty...

Ok.... so, first off ~
I am
LOOOOOOOVIN
{{ too many O's, I think not, that's how much I'm diggin them }}
my new "House of Smith"-inspired shelves I made last week!!!!
I pretty much made them the same way - but I cut costs WAY down - because I'm cheap like that.
Mine were less than $20 together - sweet, right?!

I did begin decorating them with "Everyday" decor... but quickly changed my mind and decided to go with Halloween.
After all... It is only 24 DAYS away...

So Glad I did.
I'm keeping in pretty neutral this year - with my new calm, neutral living room it just seems fitting.
Holiday or no... at least for now.

PS!!!! Do you like my new wreath??? I Do!
Total cost $5
oh ya..... and it was made from this...
